DES have completed works at REEF SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) School on behalf of East Sussex County Council. The school is the first of its kind within the area and boasts state-of-the-art facilities that meet the requirements of the school and the 80 pupils aged 4-16 years.
The part two-storey and part three-storey special school has:
- Specialist Therapy Facilities
- Primary and Secondary Teaching Areas
- PE Hall
- External Play Areas
The classrooms have been arranged in a cluster, centred around a 1:1 group room and WC per class meaning a focused approach to achieving the best environment for the pupils and staff.
DES has experience working with clients that have a focus on providing facilities for Special Educational Needs from projects such as Brentwood and Cherry Manor.
